Richard Baranyai

He came from the far, Eastern European country of Hungary.

Richard’s career started out as a graphic designer, had some exhibitions of drawings and doodles. Then he bought a DSLR and started to play with it.

After the company he was working for went bankrupt in Budapest, he thought it's now or never - it’s time to start chasing dreams in America. He risked everything by selling his apartment and moved to San Francisco to master photography.

He graduated from the Academy of Art with an Academy award and got on the President’s list as first of all the Hungarians, then moved across the country to New York City and became bi-coastal. He also found a bunch of stuff here: new cameras, new techniques, and a new love for rescuing dogs.

His strongest skills are creating breath-taking lighting set ups and paying attention to the smallest details on set. Besides his expertise, he is very easy to get along with, and an overall humble and mellow guy.
